Two PDF’s are available for download upon purchase. Letter sized and A4 sized PDF’s available.
A mandala pattern is also available for download, but you can substitute your own image. The mandala used in this project measures 10cm x 10cm.
A Video tutorial is available showing how to make the Mandala Bag.
Another video tutorial is available showing how to braid leather – used to make the straps for the Mandala Bag.
Items required for the Mandala Bag project:
Leather requirements:
7oz or ~ 2.8mm – size required ~0.5 ft2 – Handles
6oz or ~ 2.4mm – size required ~2 ft2 – Main body of bag
5oz or ~ 2.0mm – size required ~3 ft2 – All other parts
Other requirements:
PDF Viewer
Black & White Printer (A4 or Letter)
Sharp Knife
Masking Tape
Hole Punch: 1mm, 3,5mm
Various round & half round punches (not required, but helpful)
YKK zip & slider 5mm – 450mm length
Tubular Rivets x9 (large head, 8mm stem)
D-Ring x1 (20mmj)
Double-sided tape 5mm (for zip positioning)
Adhesive
Waxed stitching thread and 2x needles (don’t have to be sharp)
General leather craft tools (mallet, knife, edger, beveller, etc)
General leather supplies (stain/dye/finisher)
